Set within the rolling landscape of King City, this custom home is conceived as a long, low pavilion embedded in a meadow. A broad, hovering roof shelters the house and extends beyond the building envelope to create generous outdoor rooms, shaded terraces, and a continuous connection to the surrounding landscape.

The project uses a restrained palette of white masonry, warm wood, glass, and exposed structure to balance solidity with openness. Inside, expansive glazing frames views across the fields while wood ceilings and natural materials bring warmth and texture to the living spaces.

Rather than imposing itself on the site, the house is designed as a quiet horizontal gesture — a place of retreat shaped by light, landscape, and the changing seasons of rural King City.
